I’ve had IBS-D since I was 16. I’m now 58. It’s a struggle, but I have found a great site for IBS help. Heatherstumnycare.com has some very good products. Try the peppermint tea. It’s great for spasms and bloating.
Also, you may want to stop eating sweets! Sugar is a trigger for me and it may be for some of you as well. I improved a lot when I stopped eating sweets, even sweet tea isn’t good. Stay away from red food dyes. It was triggering me and I didn’t realize it until a nurse friend of mine asked if I consumed red things, like cherry drinks, red jello, etc. it’s bad for some IBS-D folks.
Just things I’ve learned over the years. Hang in there everyone!

heatherstummycare.com/ (writer mispelled it); the fennel tea is also great for bloating; I've been buying it for about 7 years. Also, Heather's advice is also worth reading even though I don't agree with her 100%.
Thanks for the info. I do find red things can go straight through. Red wine, beetroot etc, the anthocyanins seem to have a rapid transit. I also limit /eliminate sugar, because that doesn't agree with me either.
