Have you experienced stomach gnawing sensation?

Feels like you are hungry but it happens even after eating

Yes I get that. It feels like my stomach is shredded inside. Or that all the nerve ends are jangling. Sometimes it wakes me during the night

Yes! I have it now. Feels like I’ve got gnawing hunger pains even after eating. Also nauseous and burping a lot. I’ve taken 10mg omeprazole for the past 10 years which have worked just fine for acid indigestion. Why all of a sudden I’ve got this upper GI situation going on is freaking me out.

Let me ask you, have you been diagnosed with IBS?

When you have the gnawing have you also had bowel symptoms changes, discomfort, etc?

I'm starting to think maybe it's connected to IBS. Stress, anxiety

My upper GI is usually fine. My ibs is very erratic! Sudden flares then calm for a short time but it’s been the bane of my life for 30 years. I probably get the gnawing unsettled nauseous feeling once a year that’s all. They’re not obviously related to be honest. I had oesophageal thrush twice 30 years ago. I’m healthy and no immune system problems so it was odd but I do wonder whether this time it could be that. Who knows but I hate it 🙄
