Last year I was diagnosed with a anal fissure and piles I was given suppositories and laxatives and it all cleared up.Had a issue a few months ago when I throught there was a small amount of blood went to the doctor who examined me and said everything was fine and not to worry and that it could have been the cherries I ate

I went on hoilday 4 wks ago and notice a one off of spots of blood after bowel movement only on toilet paper which was bright red used the cream I had with me and everything was fine then last wk I had one spot of bright red blood after bowel movement went to the doctor who advise that she could not feel a pile and there was no blood on her glove but that the pile could have shrunk and only been small which is why she could not feel it told me not to worry and gave me a course of suppositories there has been nothing since I had my poo test last September that was all clear

My anxiety is bad again at the moment and i am in panic mode thinking it's not piles but somethink else any body had any thing similar?

for got to say had bad covid 8 weeks a go when the cough was dreadful the doctor did think this is what may have irritated the pile sorry for the long message but i am really stressed at moment

Bright red blood tends to be a sign of it coming from low down like piles or fissures, which is less concerning. Are your stools hard/more on the constipated side, which may be causing this? If so, have you tried increasing fibre?

To be honest I have had a lot go on recently so dont think I had been as good on the fibre front I have upped it now plus more water.I was feeling as if the stools had gone harder around that time

The doctor didn't seem worried as she said everything was normal when she examined me I am just struggling with my anxiety again and this has not helped

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me
