If you've had all the shapes and sizes, like me, then it's probably IBS playing up and the more you stress about it the worse it will be and it won't settle down while your anxious. Try to get fibre into your diet without over doing it. Eat some fresh fruit each day, if you can tolerate it. Have you tried probiotics? I find I can't live without mine and I've tried loads over the years but have settled on one that seems to suit me.
Try not to worry because it's this that causes all kinds, believe me I know.
I get this occasionally- I have been diagnosed with IBS CFS and MCAS. I was diagnosed with MCAS after contracting COVID. When I have periods of intense stress it causes an overload of histamine in my body and I have to rush to the toilet . I regularly take Quercetine as a natural anti histamine but sometimes the overload ( histamine can triggered by lots of things) sets this reaction off together with brain fog and extreme fatigue. I call it poo goo or butt snot, because, well that is what it looks like. It usually happens after I finally have a 5 star poo. For me, it goes away if I start eating better...usually shows up when I dont pay attention to what Im eating.
