Hey everyone, I was diagnosed last year and thought I started to get an understanding of what worked for me. It appears to be mostly stress/tiredness triggered rather than food and I take bimuno supplements daily which appears to have helped a lot.It was recently recommended that I try fybogel, so I've been taking 1 or 2 sachets a day for a week or so - but I don't think my body likes it I've been more bloated and constipated then I have in months... Has anyone else had worse symptoms when taking fybogel or is it an adjustment I should push through?
I'm getting loads of discharge as well for the first time in a while, as well as yoyo-ing madly between over hydrated and dehydrated which is causing dizzy spells.
Any suggestions for how to deal with the constipation greatly received and if anyone can relate?

Fybogel contains psyllium (ispaghula) husk. I tried psyllium husk for a while for IBS-C. I gave it a fair go (a few weeks) and in the end my belly just got bigger and bigger - it looked like a football. When I stopped taking it, my belly went down very quickly. So it is possible to have an intolerance to it.

Did a Doctor advise Two sachets a day? That sounds excessive. I started on one a day and later told to reduce to half a sachets a day, because of wind, and you must drink more while on it. Maybe that explains the dehydration.
