another CT scan with contrast

hello,

I did eventually go to the ER because of my stomach pains. A CT scan with contrast was conducted on my chest, abdomen and pelvis but no serious emergency was detected and I was sent home. The build up of stool remains unrelenting despite low food intake and mostly liquid. This is a summary from one section of the report when they state large build of stool in colon. It’s a permanent ever increasing build up of stool but I guess no one knows how to treat it The diagnosis said it’s,likely to be ILEUS a term I had not heard before but appears to be a form of impaction Anyone familiar with the term?

I'm so sorry to hear of this very uncomfortable sounding gut problem. I would persist in seeking help from a gastroenterologist if things don't improve - it must be miserable for you. Wishing you better
