Hi all I'm wondering on some advice again iv been taken laxtive iv been having bowel movement fine in fact my stomach has been fine then today iv gone for toliet iv got mushy shit with black bits init and top of my tummy Is swollen and hurts and also I can't poop again

Unless you can relate these 'black bits' to some food you have eaten, it might be best to go and see the doctor about it.

I have the black bits too they look most odd, I told my GP and she seemed unconcerned. Some months later I had a colonoscopy the results of which came back fine, no issues, no disease.

Ask you GP about it to see if they think the black bits need investigating. Better to it checked out so you can relax thereafter. Can you attribute any of it to anything you have eaten.

I'm waiting on hopstail I don't dare go to Mt gp anymore they don't seem to care I'm meant to be seeing bowerl special person in coming months top of my tummy was swollen last night I had so much gas stuck in my tummy it was painful

Ita a horrid feeling Ella, I know it only too well. I am waiting for a bowel consult app too so guess we are both in the same boat. Best wishes for some help when you get the app. Sadly GPs seem out of their comfort zone on complex issues. Hope you getvsome help and answers asap. Keep safe in the meantime.

Just wondering if you are taking any supplements?

Probiotics, tumeric and slippery elm are ones that i take which helps me.
