Bleeding internal haemorrhoids

Hi all, does anyone have regular problems with bleeding internal haemorrhoids? If my motions are soft, I have no problems, but as soon as they are the least bit hard, then the bleeding and soreness start up again! I have tried all sorts of lotions and potions, some on prescriptions, but it never goes away completely!! Has anyone had an operation for it?

No operations but I do need to use stool softeners occasionally. You need to drink the recommended amount of water each day to help soften the stool and keep the bowel hydrated.

I can't have too much insoluble fibre or red meat and saturated fat to reduce hard stools . I do have a lot more soluble fibre foods to help produce softer more moveable stools.

You may find you need a prescription long term and daily to help rather than stopping it each time it improves , I would get to the GP to discuss it again.

I have the same problem. I take Fybogel twice a day and have the best diet Fibre wise and still on occasions I bleed. The pain can be a nightmare sometimes and still haven’t found out it it’s a fissure or a haemorrhoid that’s causing the problem as when I have a bleed I can’t get an appointment with the Doctor. Good luck and go to your GP.

PS I have not had an operation for this.

Look at eXroid treatment. It is life changing for many and the least invasive treatment out there.

I had internal haemorrhoids removed about seven years ago, it was not as bad as I expected, yes its painful for a few days after, I was expecting the pain to be far worse, after having them surgically removed I have not had any problems since.
