I try & eat fibre in some form each day. I have porridge with ground flaxseed every morning but have switched to oat milk from dairy. I have noticed that I seem to have more wind & cramps and I seem to be going to the toilet more but poo is normal. Wondering if I am having too much fibre with the oat milk. Has anyone else experienced this.

Too much oats
Yes, too much fibre gives me wind, suggest you cut down on your intake and see if that helps it did me but we are all different. Good Luck🍀
I have porridge every day and seem okay. Possibly the flaxseed.
Too much fibre can be a problem for some people, and you might have a slight intolerance to oats (though oat "milk" is mainly water!). Like all IBS problems, everyone is different and there is no "one size fits all" solution - you might have to experiment a bit to get the balance right. In my earlier stages of IBS, I had success in reducing fibre, but latterly it's all over the place and haven't found a solution yet!
I am very sensitive to oats which is frustrating as oats are supposed to be great for you. Be careful which plant milks you buy as some contain odd things that could be bloat causing( why they have to put things like chicory, and all kinds of gums I don’t know). There are plant milks that have only 3 ingredients e.g almonds water and salt, ( so why can’t all manufacturers manage that ), although ( annoyingly) these tend to be the more expensive ones.
