I went from IBS-D to C. I was doing pretty good with Metamucil every night but lately is not working. I started taking few times a week Miralax but the last few days I go to the bathroom to pee and when I clean myself I have poop on the paper, its horrible. I had a colonoscopy and everything as good.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I am worried, I don’t have diarrhea and I still feel constipated but this leaky thing worries me

Thank you for listening, MariaD

I think you might have overflow diarrhoea, this can happen sometimes. Perhaps you might like to read the link below to see if this could be what you are experiencing.

Thank you so much. Great article. I am almost positive it happens after I take Miralax. I now have cramps, like if I am getting my period except I am 60 I think is due to constipation.

Yes, when I was young it was more IBS(D) but now I'm getting older (64 next week) it's getting more constipated although I still seem to have soft stuff running down inside me, or that's what it feels like!
