Recently I have been chewing a block of raw ginger first thing in the morning which I then swallow down with water. I then wait 30 minutes before I have any other food or drink. I am having some good success with this. Has anyone else tried it?

I have used ginger in the past for sore throats and found it to be effective. I have never used it for stomach issues, I might give it a try, thanks for the info
I’ve used ginger (on its own or with manuka honey) for decades now alongside all my meds...it reliably helps damp down my v early onset chronic slow transit dysmotility SIBO-related gastritis nausea. Ginger is invaluable to me, partly cause cannot tolerate either antiemetics or PPIs.
My fav IS raw ginger! I usually take my ginger as an infusion, but am now going to try your chewing method (except i can’t swallow it cause my GI tract is now so severely hypereactive it cannot tolerate food fibre/residue)
Thanks for posting! How long have you been using ginger this way?
Hi Phil, you replied to my post 10 months ago, that you were having some success with an antidepressant for the gas an bloating. I am still having major issues. Thank you again
Hi Phil, Cant believe its been 2 Years. I had my 3 Covid shots. Was initially afraid to get them due to my bloating issues but I didn't have any problems. I have developed high ood pressure and cholesterol is 250. Not good. The bad bacteria I believe made me gain weight. I still have the bloating, maybe a little better though. How are you doing?
