I can't belive the pain I've been in today but tonight the pain had got soo sore actual doubled over in pain the spasm and cramping and stabbing in my right side tonight has been unreal all my on going issues have been on my left tonight is the first on my right.. I swallowed all 3 mebeverine and took 30mg off buscopan currently got buscopan next to my bed and peptaic , and the wind is unreal .. I have said before I am undiagnosed but is this what a flare up is .. please tell me what I cam do to help this I've never suffered pain this sore before apparent from when I was in labour lol x

You should see a doctor. If it is IBS it has to be diagnosed by a doctor.

Hi. If the pain is so bad that you are doubled up and you haven’t been diagnosed with IBS yet I would be phoning 111 for advice. It could be that you need to be seen by a doctor to rule other issues out.I hope you have had a better night and are feeling better.

Morning still sore but not as sore I am really unsure what's is happening if honest I guess the reason I put off phoning 111 lastnight was I have 2 kids and no body to watch them.if I had to wnd up In hospital but the I thi k I will be phoning this morning just cause I am still sore x

Oh that’s a difficult one. I understand why you haven’t phoned.Hopefully you have a relative or a friend who can help out in an emergency.

Hopefully a check up would put your mind at rest and 111 won’t suggest anything they don’t think is necessary.

Definitely get it resolved today. There are other abdominal issues that can cause severe pain, some of which can be life threatening, such as a twist or blockage of your small intestine. This happened to me, caused severe pain and was caught just in time (after 2 days) to avoid rupture of the small intestine. I am not trying to scare you -- just maybe wake you up so you get it checked today and can then, hopefully, relax.

I am currently in hospital the now just waiting on bloods work comming back and waiting to see what the surgeon says x

Oh poor you , that’s awful nobody really understands the pain do they, hope you are feeling a bit better now, paracetamol can help me at times, hot water bottle and avoiding things you know can trigger obviously.

Hi I'm sorry to hear this. If you are in too much pain ask them if it's possible to have Zapain. This has paracetamol and codine tablet. This will take off some of the pain away. If you stay in and you can't sleep ask if you are allowed a sleeping tablet to help you rest a little. I hope you get better soon.🤔

Update been admitted to hospital on liquid morphine going for ct scans and currently on a iv for next two hours the pain is still there I would say a 8 out off 10 but hoping if with.me now eventually allowed to eat that the pain will settle down a wee bit as I've had no food all day x thank everyone will keeps uses all updated once I know more x oh for to say bloods came back high and sign off infection and inflammation so in correct place now thanks to someone who told me to in get contact with 111 x cause off the pain cause off uses I did c

My pain was so bad 2 weeks ago I went to a walk in health centre, I was already on maximum buscopan they recommended Colpermin which is peppermint capsules, this really did help. Even when it settles down I live in fear of the next flare up.

Hey all I am currently still get more bloods done still in hospital getting a stool test done today aswell I am getting booked for mri as they are looking at my liver and bile duct area to see it the any stone blocking it and other stuff as I've had my gallbladder already out x will.keeps uses posted when I know.. therefore sign off infection some where as my white blood count is higher x
