Hello everyone,

I'm just after a little advice and I'm somewhat confused. I have been having this issue where when I eat carbs mainly refined carbs it induces anxiety/panic attacks. I have had my bloods taken, my A1c level - IFCC standardised 34 mmol/mol I even brought a glucometer to check if my glucose increased and decrease correctly which it did. All my other bloods have come back perfect. Has anyone got any experience in this happening to them. Any information would be most helpful.🙂

Could it be reactive hypoglycaemia? Carbs could bring about an attack. You would need an extended glucose tolerance test to diagnose. The symptoms are just like anxiety.
