Twisted bowel

I have suffered with constipation 25 years since having a cesarean section, tried all laxatives going, last year I had to have a laparoscopy n needed an ovary and fallopian tube removing. The doctor said it was a difficult operation as my bowel was so compacted they struggled, for couple of years I been getting sharp pains wen bend forward and a feeling I can only describe as something moving inside which leaves me in agony for a short time n unable too move and somebody mentioned I could have a twisted bowel.

Has anybody else had similar symptoms or have any idea wot I am dealing with, I have not been back to doctors as the pandemic but its starting too be more painful and causing bloated stomach frequently

If you had a twisted bowel you would know. The pain is unbearable and you will have no action from your bowels at all. It sounds more like slow transit, with the feelings you are describing, but that can only be diagnosed by having a special test. I would contact my GI consultant or GP as a matter of urgency. Good luck, get well and stay safe.

Hello, so sorry to hear of your condition. For constipation, try Ortis, Fruits & Fibres Regular cubes. I buy mine from Holland & Barret but pharmacies sell them as well. A natural way to relieve constipation. I have IBS C and have tried lots of different medications and natural remedies and this small cube works for me. A whole cube was initially too much for me as I was on toilet over 5 times in a day, so now I have half in the morning and half in the evening to keep me regular. Hope this helps with the constipation. Take care.
