Yes, I do, in fact my hubby says I have enough gas to start a power station. 🤭 I digress. I use a combination of Mebeverine capsules before eating my main meal and daily exercise walking or yoga

Try Windeze and anti spasmodics, they help me. Move around a bit more if you can

I suffer from terrible trapped wind, and it so painful! Get it everywhere, bowel, chest back. Suffering at the moment, and it’s taking days to shift. Lying with hot water bottle on tum, some times that helps🤞🏼

I now use a combination of magnesiumhydroxide and cascara sagrada several times a day because of constipation issues. I have the feeling that it also helps to get rid of the excessive gas in my intestines.

in reply toMeleber

Hi thanks for the reply however after doing some reading up on cascara sagrada I’m advised not use it as I have diverticular disease

Hi Hidden,

I too suffer from Diverticulitis and when I have an attack. When it starts to calm down and my IBS kicks in I suffer with awful gas. I can’t offer any remedies that I have found to work. I just wanted to say I’m with you on this one and can totally relate to what you go through.😕

Hello, to have diverticulars in the colon is not considered as a disease since they could go away without any treatment ONLY if you get rid of constipation. I have a similar case and did my colonoscopy last month. I was sure that the cause of pain I was having is due to this since I had few severe constipation episodes recently. Do you know that due to pushing hard while constipated and you put stress on the intestine, air pockets form on the walls of the intestine which cause the pain we get afterwards, however, if you treat the constipation or avoid pushing while passing stool you will not have them any more. hope this can help in a ways and you feel better,,
