Lower right sided weakness
Hi, I've experienced this. If I have pain it's mostly located in the lower right quadrant of my abdomen. It was even so severe that I eventually had a Meckel's diverticulum removed last year. But this didn't cause the pain after all. It seems that I suffer from fecal impaction/material, that my colon isn't emptying properly. I need to use a laxative several times a day and also have to mind what I eat. I've had a test for colon transit time (was allowed to continue taking a laxative during the test) and it came out fine. Definitely no hard to digest fibres for me, this will lead to more constipation. Now taking an antibiotic (rifaximin) and hope this will have some effect. Must say that I haven't experienced (severe) pain for a while. You can find more relevant posts on this forum.
