Slight swelling and pain upper right abdomen

Hi, I posted the other week asking if anyone experienced a feeling of tightness without pain. However now I feel I have this and pain with slight swelling in my upper right abdomen. Not maybe swelling but feels hard whereas my left side is soft. Anyone experienced this? Starting to read about gallbladder issues? GP hasn't suggested this but she did say she would refer me to gastro. But that could be ages, it's really getting me down 🙁

If you can why don’t you pay. They will usually go tests in nhs test after. I have, wish I hadn’t now I have a problem with my pancreas which isn’t good news.

Jasper21 try not to worry about the pancreas. It might just be blocked ducts from gallbladder.

No there is a mass in there. Had mri urgently yesterday. Results on Friday. Not looking good.

Hi SKWEKER I have a slight swelling right abdomen with pain at times. Had a cat scan it showed I have a small umbilical hernia. Gastroenterologist then sent me for MRI scan which showed I have gallbladder disease and needs to come out. Got everything under control at moment as did not want a op at moment. If in lots of pain ask your GP to send you on a 2 week urgent referral which he can do. That's what mine did for me. They still triage you but you get a appointment so much quicker.
