Omeprazole

Morning all.

I was taking omeprazole for stomach acid for around 3 months. This eased the symptoms greatly and the doctor took me off them.

The acid came back so I was put back on them. Same thing happened again and I was off them.

I went for an endoscopy and I had an ulcer so I was prescribed 6 week course. Finished that and a was okay for a week.

The acid came back so the doctor has put me in them but given me a course to taper off them.

Every time I’ve taken them my spit has turned brown first thing in the morning. (Doctor has treated me for chest infection. Seems like it’s too much of a coincidence now)

I’ve had lower back pain in a morning. Aching muscles. Are they doing me more harm than good?
