Alflorex?

Hey! Has anyone taken Alflorex and has it helped? Just bought a month supply and I’m really hoping it helps. I had a laparoscopy a month ago and I don’t know what has triggered off this massive flare up that my doc thinks is Ibs. I feel constant spasming, abdomen distended, bloating, constant discomfort and feels like my insides are being twisted. My bowel habits have changed too. How long did it take for alflorex to work for you all?

I'm towards the end of my second month, and was just thinking of writing a post - be interested in other responses.

Initially I nearly gave up on it, I felt really ill. Spasms, nausea, gurgling stomach, feeling generally ill. That lasted a few days. Then after about a month I thought there was a bit of an improvement with less pain and an improvement with bloating.

Fast forward to now, and in the last week I've felt really rubbish again - similar issues, with gurgling, nausea and just generally feeling under the weather. So I'm currently back to debating whether to continue.

I'd say it's a mixed bag at best. Has it taken longer than 2 months for other people to get used to it?
