Hi I'm new here for a bit of advice

I've been taking alflorex for 7 days & the last 2 days I've seen an improvement in my stools(hopefully it will last) but also for the last 2 days ive been getting bad heartburn burn and burping?

Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

Hi, in my experience when you have softer stools that then become harder when taking something to stop you keep going to the toilet, then it seems that you end up with problems up to top end like you describe.

Hmm, disappointing and confusing, that seems to sum up my battle with IBS quite well. Of course, it might not be the same for everyone.

I'm confused now as I have an e-mail telling me you wrote "Hi, I don't understand what you mean? They have become firmer again which is positive but also I now have heartburn and burping since they got better ..." on here before you go on to say "How strange etc". But this is not showing up on here. Is it your end?

Let me try to elaborate. I find if it doesn't come out the bottom end, it tends to rise back up into your body and shunt everything above it up too. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but that is what it feels like to me.
