Alflorex

Hi, I'v just been reading about the probiotic Alflorex, has any one tried this product for IBS-C? If so has it been beneficial for incomplete evacuation.

Hi Dotty3, I read about this probiotic on the June Relief IBS newsletter.

The product is also known as B. Infantis 35624 or Align. It has helped some people with IBS-D, not sure if it has benefited any one with IBS-C.

I did try Symprove but unfortunately did not help my symptoms.

May try this probiotic if I find it has helped other people with IBS-C.

I think it can be purchased in the UK now.

I am on it at the moment and seeing some remarkable results. I will report back once I feel that my improvements are not short lived.

Hi Sabberton, thanks for the reply. I am pleased you are finding such good results. Just to double check do you have the same problem as me ( as above). I hope you continue to feel better, I will be interested to see how you get on.

Hi Sabberton, thanks for your reply.

Tomorrow I have got an appointment with a FODMAP trained dietitian, so I don't think I will be able to try the Alflorex for some time.
