Yip, welcome to the club, except I don't really get anxious about it now. Dizzy when it's coming out of both ends or if blood pressure low, or lacking in something.
One of the effects of this illness is it increases anxiety, and anxiety increases the effects of IBS, which, in turn, causes more anxiety. (So one feeds off the other). Like Viklou, I am only dizzy when my blood pressure falls.
Hi Try cutting out dairy I have found it a big help. I get non dairy yoghurts, almond milk and don’t eat Chocolate. After years of trying all sorts of remedies this really works for me.
I've been wondering about Dairy chocolate as well. Never had problems with them before but have had a boutthathas lasted a month and a half now. I'm trying the FODMAP diet and testing different foods and dairy seems to be a trigger.
Yes unfortunately that's what you can get.
I've recently taken part in research and I listed symptoms of the condition which, I have to say, some surprised me.

Unfortunately stress can make it a lot worse and can be one of the key triggers. I used to have IBS C (Constipation) then after food poisoning it went to IBS D (Diarrhoea) and I started the Low Fodmap diet in January this year and it made things so much better for me. It doesn't work for everyone but it does for 75% of people and is definitely worth a try.
I agree with Viklou in that you can get dizzy if you are really poorly with it or lacking in something.
Thank you so much everyone for the information it’s much better getting information for people who also have it
