Feel so ill

Hi it me again😩 I’m currently on antibiotics (metrodizanol) for stomach and bowel issues. I’ve got up this morning and just feel so unwell, do you think it might be the antibiotics. I feel I need to go to hospital but been there so many times in the past 4 months I’m so tired of it. Thank you for reading

Hi, you could try ringing 111 and talk to a nurse or gp that way? May save a trip to a&e, but if you feel that rough, you should probably seek help from someone. Dont leave it until its worse. Hope you feel better

It is possible to feel quite unwell on antibiotics. It can be best to take saccharomyces boulardii alongside the antibiotics to help protect your microbiome.

I agree with MissNyxiie, that it might be a good idea to get some reassurance from the 111 service.

Point in feeling so unwell that you think you need to go to the hospital. Agree call 111 or get in touch with your surgery. Explain the symptoms and get it sorted.
