Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have an experience with prokinetics ? Or anyone that is taking prokinetics?

Just received a copy of the letter sent to my GP following gastroscopy and they have recommended GP starts me on Prokinetics along with the PPI's I'm already on.

A quick Google search makes it seem like there are some very unfavourable side effects.

Thanks

Ivenever heard of Prokinetics. I hope you can manage without them because of the side effects.

Thanks Crazyfitness, the meds sound like they could help just come with loads of really strange side effects. Yet letter said if meds don't work I'll need to have reflux surgery so might have to give them a go and see what happens yet will see what GP thinks.

I've just been looking online at natural ones, wonder if they are worth a try? Problem I find with doctors is they're not willing to look at natural remedies, apart from the Low Fodmap diet of course. This is one site I came across:

I'm now trying my upmost to use as natural as I can.

Wishing you the very best of luck.
