Stomach burning

Thought things were improving but last two days burning through chest and under ribs within 30 mins of breakfast. Had more blood tests yesterday and tomorrow doing ultrasound on my stomach just hope this gets sorted. Also still suffering with terrible gas but constipated not had diarrhoea for a while . Can anyone relate to my symptoms

Hi, hope your ultrasound went okay. I currently have upper burning abdominal pain that goes to my back. As soon as I use to eat anything I would get the pain, even when I went to the toilet for a bowel movement I would still get the pain too. I would also feel sick after eating too.

This pain started a few months after my small bowel resection surgery and bilateral incisional hernia repair. It has now been two years. I have also suffered constipation due to severe adhesions and being on a low residue diet. I was referred to a colorectal surgeon who said I needed a few tests doing which was a colonoscopy which diagnosed a few terminal ileum apthous ulcerations. I also had an ultrasound done which diagnosed me with gallstones.

As my pain had been on going for a while he suggested having my gallbladder out but in the meantime to go on a low fat diet. I then saw my GP who put me on lamperazole which have really helped alot. I have stopped having the abdominal pain but depending on what I eat it does sometimes trigger it off. I am still getting upper right side pain where my gallbladder is. I hope you get your answers soon.

Thankyou for your interest. Ultra sound was ok but I know this is all stomach related. Funny I had porridge at 9.00am then burning discomfort in middle of chest within 20mins . This calmed down quite quickly and I had to fast till 3.00pm for the procedure.i have been absolutely fine all day just had potatoes salad salmon for tea struggled to eat very much and stomach and headache started almost immediately.

Not sure what it’s all about. Think since I’ve been feeling ill about 7 weeks now I’ve done very little because haven’t felt up to much and I think I’ve lost muscle and need to get fitter.my back and shoulders are tight I’ve had a headache through eyes for a while but since exercising again my head has improved but bad again today. Have to add so much stress which isn’t helping. But doctors not sure if Acid Reflux or IBS or something else. Also waiting on blood tests. Just want to know what iam dealing with. Suppose next stage will be camera put down. What’s next I wonder.

Did they not give an indication of how your ultrasound went? It could be a range of things and it's a good job it's being investigated.

Told ovaries ok as was liver and gall bladder. Does anything ring bells with you. X
