I often hear anal fissure hemorrhoids etc. But how do I know this is still IBS and not something more severe?

Blood in Stool is this normal
Hi . Yes you have heard right, Anal Fissures and Haemmoroids can cause you to have Blood in your Stools Especially if you get constipated .If the Blood is bright red, then usually it's nothing to worry about because it's fresh. But then, if it's like ground coffee then that's different. I know because my Hubby had the same problem a few years ago. We are not all the same, and i am not a Doctor.
But if i were you, I'd get it checked out by your G.P. You know as well as me, that there are numerous other medical conditions that can cause this problem.
You're probably worrying over nothing ,but it's still best to make sure that theres nothing sinister going on.
Our heads work overtime sometimes and we think the worst. 🤔
I've got IBS and Diverticulitis query Crones disease. Both my Hubby and I had to have a Colonoscopy. We both had Polyps, but they were both benign. 👍.
So No Worries..
We can't tell you what's going on with you. So please give your G.P a visit.
You'll probably come out of his office smiling like a Cheshire Cat😄. 😁
We recommend speaking to your GP.
