My name is Barbara and have had several hernia operations and by 2015 I suffered a strangulated hernia. Since then I have had mostly diarrhoea making it impossible to go out without preparation and watching what I ate.Diverticulitis was diagnosed but not treated other than my medication for constipation and for diarrhoea. Recently having felt very nauseous for a few months I was referred to Hospital fora C T scan..... this process took so long because of workloads .... and I have again been told I have Diverticulitis which should be treated with a high fibre diet.
I have asked to see a dietician but told just look on the internet and see what agrees with you.

Hi Barbara, sorry to hear that. If you are struggling to get out and about we recommend using a can't wait card and/or RADAR key to help you gain access to toilets when you need them. More info here theibsnetwork.org/shop/supp...
