Hi. I had a colonoscopy on Tuesday morning

They took 5 biopsies ,

I'm still in pain in my right hand side , just wondering is this normal?

Hi NM13, I have had a colonoscopy and biopsies taken and the next day I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach. The pain lasted a couple of days then went away. However it returned around 5 days later (not as bad) and lasted another couple of days.

Not sure if this is normal but I presumed it was my body healing itself.

If in doubt contact the ward that performed it or your GP surgery.

I do feel a bit better today, hopefully it will ease off soon.
