I use Vivomix which is the generic version of VSL3. It is identical & works well for me & also much cheaper. I also take Saccharomyces boulardii. I buy them both online so just Google them to find the best places to buy. I am also in UK. This combination along with linseed & live yogurt seems to give me a very good equilibrium in my gut! Good luck

Hi I take this as a comprehensive stool test showed I have large infestations of 2 parasites and hardly any good bacteria in my gut. I get mine online from Feerings the manufacturer. I took them for a month in April and I did feel a lot better but have gone downhill again due to the parasites. I have 3 months supply now and also appointment at tropical diseases hospital to deal with parasites which is the cause of all the problems.

Hi hope you don’t mind me asking but I’ve been suffering with gas n bloating on n off for years but now seem to have it most days 😩

I’m interested in your comment regarding the stool test ..are you in the uk ? And if so did your gp suggest the test ?

I’ve been offered no tests only been referred to FODMAP a couple of years ago which I ‘tried’ to follow but it did not come easy to me and found it was taking over my life !!!

Ive been tested for lactose intolerance which I have but I do still eat live and kefir yoghurt as it’s meant to help with good bacteria and atm take alflorex and have also taken optic bac as read they were both good 🤔

I just find it all a mine field of information 🤪

Tummy seems to react with everything these days ......

The stool test is not available on the NHS. I had mine at Geneva Diagnostics but you have to be referred so I consulted Kate Arnold nutrition. The reason I had the test was to see what my gut biome was like. I didn't think about parasites until I spoke to Kate and after her questions which I had never been asked before, she arranged the test which I did at home then sent to the company.

I was referred by my gp for stool test which highlighted helicobacta but after antibiotics did not resolve gas and bloating problems

I also take vsl#3. It has helped tremendously and yes it is expensive but helps. Unfortunately you can’t get it anywhere anymore. I am on my last bottle and don’t know what I will do once it is gone.

I buy VSL#3 on line from Feerings but it is not in a bottle. They are sachets of powder which you mix with water and drink.

Please tell me where. I have checked so many places and no one can get it. I would be so appreciative if you could help me find it. Thanks so much.

I have used VSL#3 sachets for some time now and, in combination with a low FODMAP diet, do feel that they help me. Personally I wouldn't order from anywhere other than the Ferring website as they do need to be kept refrigerated and there is no guarantee of this if you order from elsewhere. They are expensive but you can often find discount codes - I just found 19SUNSHINE10 giving 10% off 3-11 packs and 19SUNSHINE15 for 15% off 12-20 packs - but haven't tested them out.

Hi. I have called Ferring and they say they don’t carry vsl#3. Could you please give me the phone number that you use or how exactly you contact them to order. Vsl#3 is the only thing that works for me and I am desperate to order more. Thanks so very much.

Hi Szelmar That's strange - are you in the UK?

This is the website that I order from vsl3.co.uk/order-now/landin... Hope that helps.

Hi. I am in the United States. I will try using the address you wrote. Thanks so much.

The box that I have only gives distribution details for the UK and Ireland but there is a manufacturer's address in Italy - Nutrilinea srl, Via Gran Bretagna 1, 21013 Gallarate (VA), Italy. Maybe they could advise you about suppliers in the US.
