Can gas/trapped wind cause palpitations?

I would check with my doc. Although, I don't think trapped wind can cause them, it can make them feel more forceful.

Or perhaps gas can feel like palpitations if felt in the chest?

I get this and have recently had a heart echo and 2 ecg’s and Seen a cardiologist! They say my heart is fine, but I still get this feeling palpitation!! I would get checked out but please let me know how you get on!

I have also had the heart tests that came back normal

I think there is a connection. Try an anti-gas medication and see if that helps.

Do you know how they are connected?

I'm not really sure but from personal experience and also my brother's, we have both had heart palpatations and had our hearts checked and found nothing wrong. This is embarrasing, but a lot of times when I've had the palps I later am gassy or it happens when I am constipated. LOL Sorry if this is TMI.
