Flare Up of D at Party

Hello, I should be used to it, but a flare up of sudden D coupled with cramps and nausea at a party last week has really knocked my confidence. One not very private loo and people rattling the door as I was in there a long time. I left after that. I was fine all day and had taken a precautionary Imodium before going out. Could this have been excitement or a touch of anxiety? I know I have to move on and keep going out but it's hard and isolating. Just wanted to share. Thanks for reading.

I'm really funny about where I go to the toilet doesn't take much to put me off if it's not very private, is that the first time this has happened? I get urges to suddenly go all the time and normally when I'm out unfortunately, although I'm currently suffering chronic diarrhoea, but this is how I was before

Yes it's happened before. Like yourself, seems to hit when I'm out. I'm always aware where the nearest loos are and like you say, they are not always ideal. Much better and clean and private at home.

Imodium is great but I too had what you had around a month ago, I took one after having this current bad phase of IBS and couldnt believe it - I still had the urge to go ! I had a reunion to host that day though and definitely feel it kicked it off MAJORLY. Dont be defeated, one month ago I was having a MELTDOWN on a train platform as Id had 4/5 days of d* , cramps, EVERYTHING and literally the day that I arrived back home to my "comfort" place I got better and went from a 8/10 severity to a good 4/5. Still suffering mostly with painful gas and cramps but the d* has eluded me due to my diet changes. prayers x

Thanks for your reply. I feel for you re your reunion. Hope you get a settled spell. I have been fine this week.
