I've suffered from IBS diarrhea since I was 12 years old and have seen at least 10 specialists, I'm 55 now, all saying the same thing. Don't know what it is. But not before they all ran the same test, Barrium enumums small bowel biopsies, barium swallow, and of course the tube up my ass!. It wasn't till about ten years ago is when they came out with Immodium, and its been a life changer for me. I take 3 tablets in the morning, and it lasts all day, so I can live a normal life, instead of always looking for the bathroom. Plus my Dr. wrote a prescription for it so my insurance pays for it. Greatest stuff in the world.

I suffer too 24 years and no reason why mine stems from childhood of domestic volience have me anxiety and when I was 24 I became pregnant and ibs started as I’d been trying 8 years with infertility treatment and lost my first baby so I was anxious and my Nan and father in law died 2 weeks apart when I was 6 months pregnant

It’s said ibs is anxiety and stress linked not food. We get intolerant to food over the years and our minds thinks it’s rhis but it’s just stress anxiety mixed with food intolerance
