Can stress ownself be the CAUSE of SIBO? I am not sure that i developed sibo after an accute infection. Im looking for my underlying cause

Hi all. I have been suffering ibs-d from 2012. At the beginning symptons were not harder than now. In 2015 i tested for SIBO and it was positive. I only take rifaximin but i never tried diets like fodmap, etc. (Althoug i avoid dairy, gluten, most of fruits and vegetables, beans, etc etc.). I am underweight and i eat only five or six foods. I know the existence of vinculin test (IBScheck) but it is not available in my country. I have read a lot articles, specially from Pimentel and i am in some groups in Fb. Pimentel says that the most of ibs is due to SIBO, and the most of sibo is due to a damage in the MMC (movements who sweeps after digestion). This damage is due to an episode of gastrointestinal infection (salmonella, giardia...) but i am not sure if this is my case. Really, i would like to know if someone has cured from sibo permanently, IS IT POSSIBLE? I know it depends on the underlying cause, so i am trying to know what was my cause (infection or stress). Has someone cured by yoga? I have read maybe some cases of sibo has the origin in too much stress (sympathetic dominance), in a wrong in the nervous system. Sorry for my english and i know i have too many questions... but, i feel i live in a hell since i have ibs.. too much years with this horror

It is important to eat more than 5 or 6 foods. You are not eating a balanced diet. This can lead to malnutrition and feeling even worse. I would talk to your doctor about your diet.
