Watched a program that was stating that taking Antibiotics can cause one to loose Good bacteria in the gut. Just thought I would put it out there.

Which is one reason why I have live yogurt on my Special K, and also with whichever of the fruits I can eat. Not that I have had any antibiotics for about eighteen months, which was for a very nasty ear infection, thought my left ear was going to explode. :(

Way back in 2011 I had several doses of antibiotics after two operations. The hospital seemed to hand them out like sweets, though I suppose it is a case of being better safe than sorry.

Yes I had a couple of courses of antibiotics which caused me all sorts of problems with my bowels. My gastroenterologist advised me to try Symprove ,a probiotic ( expensive) it has changed my life. I had awful IBS D but now taking this every morning I'm feeling really well.
