Boscopan - constipation?

I took some Buscopan 2 days ago for the first time for ages and yesterday I had to really strain to do a bm (even though it was quite soft). Just wondering if there is a link. Perhaps the Buscopan slowed the gut down too much?

To be honest buscopan didn’t do any thing for me neither did the orange gels the only thing that has really helped me is linactotide its my miracle drug

It's a tablet that I get on prescription and take one every morning and I empty my bowel every day no more horrible constipation and due to this I feel so much healthier x

I used to be on buscopan before being put on to mebevirine and I can't say buscopan helped a huge amount. It's more for bloating and pain associated with ibs which I didn't have. But if it's slowing you down and it's a little harder to go,thats an ibs sufferers dream. If it's giving you relief,try not to worry.

Yep that can happen. I’m not a big fan buscopan. All those tables seem to be more geared to IBS d not IBS c.

Yes think it does slow things down. No good for ibs c
