Right sided groin pain :(

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with IBS in 2012 and like us all have tried to live with this condition the best that I can. Lately I’ve been experiencing pain and spasm in my right groin. It wakes me up on a morning now and at times is relieved by BM. It’s just so debilitating and is really getting me down. Is this similar to anyone else out there?

Hi Mark. Have a google and read about ileocecal valve. I had really horrible right sided groin pain that would literally bring me to tears. It ended up being this valve. It COULD be what’s going on for you.

I would be interested to hear how you resolved your ileocecal valve problem? We’re you supported by your doctor or consultant? How long did it take to tesolve?

Were you prescribed a prokinetic medication?

I hope your symptoms have been resolved.
