I looked at a diagram explaining about gravity and the importance of having your head above your stomach to avoid reflux, in a leaflet I got after I was diagnosed with a hiatus hernia. I experimented by propping up the head of my (king size) bed by balancing the legs at the head on two fat hardback dictionaries. I thought it would feel like sleeping on a slope but actually it’s OK and more comfortable than trying to prop yourself up on pillows. My partner found it fine too. The result is - no reflux symptoms, so no need for antacids etc. I recommend you try it.

Yes i was told by a doctor when diagnosed with hiatus hernia that u needed to raise the head of your bed. I used to use 2 bricks, but on the bed i have now not able to do that. Have something under the mattress, but not as good.
Yes Definitely helps. Had acid and then reflux since age 13 no 61. Plus stay off caffeine fuzzy drinks. Many medicines can cause the problem
Too. I’ve actually got my bed on like big hoof like things that occupational health put on.
