Vomiting/Piles /Diarrhoea/Test for IBD

Hi,

So just over a year ago I suffered from severe diarrhoea, piles which caused lots of bleeding and vomiting. Diarrhoea and piles lasted for about 6 weeks and vomiting for a few days.

About 6 weeks ago, loose stools and piles which caused lots of bleeding reoccurred and I thought here we go again! A few days ago, vomiting and diarrhoea started for a day and I was in bed for 2-3 days. This was exactly what happened a year ago.

After 2 weeks of bleeding doctor prescribed me a 5 day course of suppositories. Completed course, stools improved and bleeding went away for about 10 days. Bleeding is back on and off since. Visited doctor again and was told they would do an examination to see if I had piles. Doctors decided not to do this and instead I sent a stool sample in and went for blood tests to see if I have IBD - If something is wrong I will receive a phone call to let me know, if not then I wont receive a call. Been a few days now and haven't heard anything. Doctor advised if tests don't show anything and bleeding is still occurring come back to get referred for an endoscopy. After vomiting and having diarrhoea, I now feel constipated and have to sit on the toilet for a long time to pass a stool.

This is getting me down and was wondering if anyone has been through something like this?
