Hi D4ppy, same thing happened to me. Seemed to be doing ok, always ckng diet then abt 10 days ago it started again. ANYTHING I eat (and I am very careful) gives me gas, bloating lower pain, feeling of not digesting and not full BMs. I am also waking up during early hours morning with slight palpitations. I am taking anxiety helping BP medications and Ativan as I was told by cardiologist (after extensive ck ups and no heart problems) it is indeed all caused by anxiety. Basically I am told I am fine but I feel sick.!!!!!!! Is there an answer? I am a senior citizen and anything that goes wrong raises my anxiety and I am fearful due to advanced age. I am somehow under stress right now, are u? Long time ago it was suggested that every time we go through a crisis similar to the done we r going through, we write down on paper, not only what we have eaten but also the possible stresses, even minute, that could have caused a relapse .I hope u will be better soon. Addolorata.
Has this back pain been diagnosed as part of your IBS or any intolerances? If it's IBS, you could be experiencing a flare-up. Unfortunately, it seems that for many of us, flare-ups can come back no matter what we do. I know how it feels to go over again and again what it is you might have done to cause this, when it's not your fault at all. But there are things you can do during flare-ups to make them pass. For me, it's taking two buscopan and laying down till the worst of it passes, and then sticking to small meals that consist almost entirely of soluble fibre for a few days. However, do see your doctor to rule anything else out. I also went quite a while without symptoms when I first took probiotics (VSL#3), but then I had a flare-up again, and I checked with my doctor to make sure nothing else was wrong.
Keep doing what you're doing, it seemed to work for quite a while, and if this back pain is due to a flare-up, it should pass soon and you'll be back on track again.
