Hi everyone I have just joined this site I have ibs I also just found out in pregnant too so that's bad because it aggarates the ibs I've new in hospital all weekend and I'm still in so much pain making me not want to eat but I have to i drink plenty of water and I've started taking codeine atm it's calmed down a lot I've changed my foods which has helped I've took 1 codeine today which is brilliant because by now I would of have all my meds and more and still be in pain but the problem is now I can't poo and I need a poo I've sat on toilet rocking for 30 mins and nothing and because I can't eat the nice just gluten I'm struggling to find something to make me poo any ideas guys

Hi, Drink plenty of warm water, nothing finer and hot water bottle on your tummy. Exercise as well when your able. See the doc if your no better though. I eat gluten free oat and berry museli and find it great for constipation. Good luck.

Hi thanks for the reply the bread isn't very nice lol and the jaffas are horrible my bf been cooking me dinners like pasta bake and they were nice but everything I want to eat I can't and being pregnant it's really getting me down I don't think my bf understands me though

Hi I’ve just been given codeine by my gp as I’ve tried buscopan, Mebeverine and audmonal and none of those worked and I was in severe pain especially at night but my gp gave me molaxole to take as well, as codeine causes constipation and that’s helped loads go back to your gp good luck 🌸
