I would definitely go and see my doctor. Don't leave it. I was diagnosed with IBS over 25 years ago then had a time recently when i was having similar symptoms, but even though I reckoned it was still IBS causing them I went to have another check up - just in case.

As it was things were ok and I was given a new medicine to take and things got back to normal soI wouldn't mess around if I were you go and see your doctor.

Hi creweworksman I to was having blood in stools when I poo & pain in anus 8 times out of ten there nothen sinister going on but to put your mind at ease go & see your doctor mine was celiac disease found out after blood transfusion my sister had the same blood in stools & anus pain she now has divicurtistis so it could be either of them but dont stress out to much babe go to yur doctors take care & be healthy patricia

I've had the same. Turned out I had internal hemoroids and polyps in lower sigmoid colon. You need to get checked out. Since my large polyp was removed I stopped bleeding. Hope you feel better.
