Enzymes last hope

Hi all.

Just wondered if an one has trused enzymes for there digestive issues and what was the result.

I've just started bimuno probiotics and Solgar enzymes.

It's only been 2 days but I get so inpatient.

This is my last hope now and looking to see if anyone has actually had any success with these.

Xxxx

Incredible success from the very first time I used them. Has been 5 months now and not a single attack. Dosage is really important, if you aren't getting results try taking an extra tablet with your food. I take 2 as soon as I get up in the morning and then 2 every time I eat something. 3 if I have a fatty meal. I have tried several types and they have all worked for me. It would all depend on your particular cause of Ibs whether these work for you or not. I have no gall bladder so I can't store bile to help with digestion.

I have a few types. Blackmores digestive aid, Swanson digestive enzymes and future biotics daily enzyme complex. The first one is vegan, the other 2 contain glandulars and ox bile.

Hi my doctor has prescribed some digestive enzymes - I think she said they were something to do with the pancreas may be causing my IBSD. I've been a bit scared to try them as I always look at the possible side effects! Just wondering if you had the big "D" with your IBS and did the enzymes help with this? Many thanks

My issue was ibsd. The enzymes stop this. Don't be scared, they are unlikely to produce a negative effect. If they do then don't take them again. It's worth a try. I have had really bad anxiety for the last few years and I only recently realised that it has pretty much disappeared. I don't know whether it's the glandulars helping or that I'm absorbing more nutrients now or whether it's a psychological result of not being scared to go out in public in case I have an attack.

Hi Rarararara - many thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll give them a try as would do anything to get rid of the problem. And yes it does cause huge anxiety and depression etc. Imodium has been a life saver for me but I don't feel it gets to the root of the problem and I worry I'll get immune if I take it too often.

I don't have IBS/D. I have what they call a Redundant, Spastic Colon, with atorturious sigmoid colon. The redundant means my Colon than normal. I am going to look for an Enzyme at Sprouts or Whole foods. If I can get the Blackmores Brand or Swanson I will go online.

Thank you - Have a blessed day
