Also if anyone could tell me is it best to take probiotic on empty stomach or with a meal? Been taking on empty as I read somewhere that's better but the bottle says with a meal?? It's all such a mine field!

I take my probiotics on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. I'm not sure if it makes a difference though!

Yes i do to and never with a hot food or drink.... always wait half hour before u do... it needs to get into ur gut and heat kills it

I have IBS d. My gastroenterologist was very forceful in telling me to take probiotics WITH LUNCH. He repeated this several times. I didn't ask him why.

Hi there pajohns

Before you think about purchasing Digestive Enzymes you may like to click on the link below and read, I was thinking on taking them but decided against it.

Hi

I went to a nutritionalist about 8 months ago as i was just suffering.

He told me to give up dairy and gluten for 6 weeks which i did and i got so much better.

Then went back to him and he then said “

Probiotics digestive enzymes and peppermints capsules.!

Ive not looked back, i rarely have a flare and it helps me digest food better.

I get mine from “ cytoplan”

Just because that who nutritionalist told me to go with because it has no nasties in it no gluten no shellfish no dairy and no bulking agents....

There others but that what i use

It the digestive enzymes i get from cytoplan and my probiotics as they have no added nasties in there ie bulking agents or gluten or dairy.

Hi

A digestive enzyme helps break down ur food especially carbs and fats which we find hard to digest. U should take them

Half hour before u eat and not with a hot drink( same with probiotic).

Also with probiotics take as soon as u get up in morning( with water) no hot food or anything for half a hour after it needs to reach ur gut.

I have two lots a day in morning then before i have biggest meal

Of day! I also take a peppermint oil capsules at same time it stop indigestion or wind.

Also some advice my gastro dr told me when u have any antibiotics take a probiotic hour after each tablet just so u put the good gut bacteria back into stomach as antibiotics kill it all
