Groin pain
I have something similar. Im trying the fodmap diet to try and reduce other symptoms but the groin pain is weird. My doctor doesn't know if this is a hip problem that can cause pains throughout the groin area but I'm sure it has a connection with the bowels as it seems to be affected by my flare ups. Its not easy to explain and its hard to narrow down the timing of the pains. Thought i would just reply to say youre not on your own with this. IBS issues seems so wide and treatments are down to trial an error.
Thanks for that. I've also got quite severe skin rashes not all over, but at certain points like behind my ears in the corners of my mouth and under my eyes. Also weirdly enough on my backside. Drs know this and gel does help. It could be connected to this.
I don't have anything like that but what I've learned from doctors is they're prescription happy. If there isn't a prescription for it they says its "one of those things" My doc just shrugs and says "it's probably IBS but its just you're getting older (50). I would be surprised if that is connected but it does sound like something that might be helped by a diet tweak. Good luck getting it sorted.
That's true. I've got skin rashes esp over the joints and under my eyes. Also have minor twinges in other parts of my body but nothing like the lower groin. Just been to town and within 5minutes of walking around very painful. Disappeared when I sat down. Weird. Am seeing consultant Monday. Don't think its got anything to do with bowel movement.
Thanks for that.
Just getting back to the groin pain. I'm sure its a cramp/wind issue. Had a lot of this recently. When I got rid of it pain went. Easier walking too. But the swelling hasn't gone down. Seeing Dr Monday.
