I recently got the contraceptive implant, I was wondering if this was linked, but since I've had it I've woken up every morning to super painful stomach cramps which then go after I've been to the bathroom, I want to know if there's ways of preventing it, or if it's something to do with the implant or what it is...

I think it is highly likely that a food intolerance is the cause of your symptoms. Food intolerances kick in when there is a trigger, and some of the most common triggers are hormone changes. Others are viruses, major stressful times and operations. Any of these triggers mean that a food which was never a problem before starts to affect you adversely. Most likely foods? Foods or drinks which you consume more than twice daily. Mary Roe. Registered nurse specialist in food intolerance testing.
I also have an implant and it is a great benefit to me. When you first have it fitted it can take a few months to settle and you can get irregular bleeding , check out the leaflet you should have been given
