I'm about to have a colonoscopy in 2 weeks time, do you get the results straight away ?

When I had one I did, yes! You can see yourself on the screen as well while they do it! Quite odd!

In my case they told me everything seemed clear but took biopsies of a couple of things to test. The results of those came about a week later.

Hi when I had mine done the person told me after I would need an operation of some kind but I suppose it depends on what your having the colonoscapy for

Yes they tell you if there is anything wrong or in my case that everything was fine ! if they take biopties you will have to wait for the results from your gp , i had 4 biopties last week so im not bothering my GP yet lol !!
