How do people cope with the exhaustion and work/everyday life. Sometimes feel too exhausted to walk to the end of my road let alone do a full days work. Suggestions please.

I found the first is to have a positive outlook. Second is to find foods that are ok for you as its normal course is is to reduce your nutrients. There are different wants to sort the food thing. You just have to find one that you believe in. I found kinesiology worked for me but some folk laugh at it.

It depends why you are exhausted - is it lack of sleep, eating the wrong foods ?

It also probably depends on what your symptoms are and how you control them

Perhaps you need some time out? Suggest seeing your doctor for sick note and support. Hope things change for you soon.

Try taking a decent supplement that includes a good dose of B Vitamins. Stress and the difficulty of eating a good diet depletes your store of B Vitamins and this is a major cause of fatigue. Also check your iron levels (your GP can do a blood test for this) you could well be anaemic and this will definitely make you feel exhausted. Find something you can believe in that will give you some time out and relaxation. I love reflexology and find it extremely relaxing and revitalising. Even if you can't believe in the curative effects of reflexology it is very pleasant and relaxing. If you find a good practitioner he/she should also have a lot of knowledge of health in general and may be able to help you with your choice of supplements, diet etc. Even just treating yourself to a massage once a month can be very helpful and is at least something to look forward to! Strangely, exercise can also help with fatigue. Try something gentle like a swim or a class you enjoy. Good luck. xxx

My specialist has told me to take vitamin D in a dose of 4000iu per day. I've now done this for a month and have more energy. I don't believe the things I can now do instead of nodding off. Worth £15 for a 1 month try. Get Solgar make tablets as they have less junk in them.

I have exhaustion too. I find spending time daily in a quiet, dark, cool place helps calm my nervous system down. It is too jumpy at this time. I take more time to myself after busy days. Like staying home instead of going out in the evening. The last thing to try is getting off the computer.

I feel horrible in the mornings. Weak adrenals and too much cortisol production. I feel much better at night. I tire very easily on sunny hot days. I feel better on cloudy cool days. My nervous system has a very low tolerance for environment and emotional stimulation. Being quiet and calm out of a busy environment is restorative and helps me bounce back. Eating a lot of vegetables and meats help. Slow walks, some gentle stretching, and soft music are very helpful. Pace yourself and only do what you really need to. Slowing down works wonders.

I find a gentle swim helps. At this time of year a stroll in the sun lifts the spirits but don't push self too hard. Allow self to just be sometimes without feeling guilty
