SPAM posts

Hi everyone, noticed there are lots of spam posts on here today about getting foreign passports and currency.

Before everyone starts complaining that they have not been deleted, could i just say that the IBS Network, who are responsible for deleting posts, do not work weekends and even when they do go into work on Monday morning, it will probably take sometimes for them to deal with it as there are only 2 staff in the office. Please be patient. Thank you.

Well I read your first and then went looking and blimey they have had a ball on here today spamming !

They seem to know the best time to do it as well like weekends when there are less people about to remove them !

HU get all reports as well as the Community Admins when we report something so if as many as can report these posts HU might notice quicker something is wrong and remove them even if we have to wait till Monday

I don't actually know how to delete a post, do you have to go into the actual post first? I was a bit worried about opening any of them in case it had a detrimental effect on my computer. Sorry, I am a bit of a dinosaur.

Sorry, that should have read 'report a post' not 'delete a post'.

it's to the right of Reply/like/Follow say's more in grey click there say's report the *****.lol

Unless you are Admin you cannot delete anybody's post you can only delete your own post if you wanted to

To delete your own post where it says More under your post you drop that down and it says options one of which is to delete which you would press

If you are Admin you do the same but have the ability to go into members posts and delete them as well as your own if you have done any which for some reason you no longer want showing

They are easy to report. Under the reply button, it says ‘more’. Click on more and it will show ‘report’, click on that, choose spam and submit.

It’s a bit time consuming but I have done a few.
