Morning all! I have just joined this forum having been put on the FODMAP diet by my dietician at hospital. My problem is although I am told I can still eat some chocolate (hurrah!) I am unsure which particular chocolate bars are OK (FODMAP low). Anyone got any knowledge on this???

Hi. Are you in UK? If so your dietician should have given you the 2 booklets produced by Kings College London kcl.ac.uk/fodmaps. They show you which manufacturers chocolate you can have. Cadbury - Crunchie, Milk Chocolate, Picnic. Fry's - Turkish Delight. Mars - Maltesers. M&M's - Regular , peanut. Nestle - Milky Bar. Unsuitable products are those containing biscuit or wafers i.e. kit-kat. Low sugar chocolate is not suitable as it contains polyols. Hope this helps - good luck.
depends if you end up having to exclude lactose as well then the list will be shorter
