I read on one of the posts about Kolantin today and as I was having bad pains I rang my husband to buy some. I have only had two doses and feel much better. I will take this instead of Mebrovine before meals and perhaps get my Dr to prescribe it. Cross fingers it will work.

I have taken Kolanticon when necessary for many years and it has been very helpful. As it is an antacid, anti-spasmodic and anti-flatulent it helps to tackle several aspects of this horrible disorder. The only downsides I have found are that the anti-spasmodic drug in it is a little sedating and if anything it can hurry things up a bit in the mornings, but that isn't always a bad thing!

Hope you continue to find it helpful.

Hurrah a person who agrees with me and uses Kolanticon Gel and finds it works! I took it on holiday in case my i.b.s flared which it did but only after drinking alcohol, hee, hee. Glad it worked may be you're cured!
